Lee Seagondollar
I now live in Palmer, Alaska where I retired from
teaching in 1993. I traveled many areas of the world
with my military service.
FAMILY:
My parents both passed away in the spring of 1994. I
married Sharon Emery in 1974 and have a son Mitch who
lives in Oregon and works in law enforcement. We
also have a daughter, Sassa who lives at Ft.
Campbell, Kentucky. (her husband is a chopper pilot
currently in Iraq) We are grandparents of twins (boy
and girl)and a granddaughter. They are all in the
terrible two age group, born 12 days apart.
EDUCATION AND CAREER:
After high school I bummed around at the U of A and
finally dropped out of college. I worked for my dad
in his music store until 1969 when I decided it was
time to get serious about the future. I graduated
from NAU in Flagstaff in 1972 with a BS in Ed. In
1973, after teaching two years at Kingman High
School, I moved to Alaska where I met my wife,
finished an MS in Voc-Ed and taught until I retired.
OPINION:
Pet peeves: People who gripe about things they could
change but never do anything about it.
AVOCATIONS:
I enjoy model trains, amateur radio, and astronomy.
STORY:
I remember one evening playing poker with Pete
Ronstadt and some other friends in Pete's backyard.
Linda thought it would be cute to surprise us. She
sprayed us down with the garden hose from over the
wall. Not much of a story.
