SUPPORT OUR BEST PRINCIPAL
Hi Everyone,

Let's support our principal, Rex Scott.  Read the message below and put out the word to everyone you know to vote for Rex.  Remember you can vote once each day.

Spread the word.  Catalina has the "best principal."

Here's a good-natured and fun thing that maybe our alumni can help with.

Arizona Foothills magazine is doing some kind of "Best of 2011" contest and one of the categories is "Best High School Principal."  Someone nominated Rex and someone nominated Mike Bejarano, the principal at Ironwood Ridge H.S., where Rex was an AP before he came to us.  This evolved today into a good-natured rivalry between the two schools and we're both pulling out the stops to help our guy win.  If it ends up that Catalina gets a nice paragraph in a slick magazine, what could be better?

Anyway, details are here:  http://arizonafoothillsmagazine.com/best-of-tucson-2011/voting/104.html  Voting goes on until April 11 and everyone can vote once a day.  Rex is playing along in a good-humored way, but asked me not to post anything on the school's website (which means not on the alumni site either, I think), so I'm hoping people will spread this to Facebook and other ways.  If you have a way of asking our alums to vote for Rex -- which is really a vote for Catalina -- that would be great.  Thank you!

Dave
